Gas Gas Gas is a free podcast, it is vying to replace the monotone – banal and down right excessively over detailed other podcast that shall not be named. I listened to these pre-primary exam and felt the fear! So much detail, so much content! am really expected to casually know the subunits of adult and fetal acetylcholine receptors?!

By day (and night) I lurk the murky halls of NHS hospitals, the mangrove that is Resus with all its additional fluids… and the perpetually trilling jungle of critical care, trying to find job satisfaction in the application of sensible care to patients, I enjoy science:human:art interaction, my favourite physiology book is Guyton and Hall,

The whole idea behind Gas Gas Gas is to lock it into a corner of your day, placing a well explained concept into your brain that is critical to the knowledge required to pass the FRCA Primary Exam.

The VivaCast episodes seek to emulate some of the reality of the exam, with live debrief and restructuring advice so that you learn content but also develop a system of organisation. Most of the time Tom doesn’t know what the question is going to be, which makes the whole shindig far more genuine! All the content is on the shownotes and you can use it to VIVA each other for practice.

The GasGasGas episodes cover core concepts with a smattering of interest, all content is pre-prepared, researched and considered.

This is relevant to anyone in the world interested in these pharmacological, physiological, clinical, physical and chemical concepts, naturally it is flavoured towards UK practice. www.Gasgasgas.uk is the new home of all the show notes tied to each episode.

We are looking to build on the team and develop a broad podcast that will get people from their first day of anaesthesia to CCT and beyond!

Who are we? Meet the Team!

Note : All content is opinion, it is not medical advice and is never a substitute for formal education and training.
